This is the other hill of Athens, which is actually higher than the Acropolis Hill. It is topped by a little white church and a coffee-restaurant and boasts an amazing panoramic view of Athens. You can climb the hill (not too hard), or take the cable car (more like an elevator inside the hill, but it will amuse the children). Wonderful at sunset and at night, where you can admire the lit city at your feet.
Address: Corner of Aristippou & Ploutarchou Streets, neighborhood of Kolonaki, 106 76

How to get there?
The easiest to get to the entrance of the cable car is by taxi (see taxi tips) (you will not find parking for your car, or expensive). Or you can walk there, but be prepared for some mild climbing the hilly streets of Kolonaki. The walk from the metro station of Evangelismos (red line) to the cable car is about 15 mn. If you want to climb the hill all the way up and not use the cable car, one of the paths starts from Aristipiou st and Loukianou St. From the top area of Syntagma Square, walk on Vassilisis Sofias St. and turn on your 8th street left, Loukianou St. Go up and climb the stairs until you get to the path.
