Acropolis Museum

very nice museum, with a special architecture

Acropolis Museum:

A very nice museum, with a special architecture and stunning displays of artifacts found of the Acropolis site. Through the see-through floors, you can see the archeological remains that were found during the building of the museum. On the top floor, you have a wonderful view of the Acropolis itself. This museum is the perfect complement to the archeological site, and both are not to be missed. You should visit it after the Acropolis itself, since you will have a better understanding of the origin of the artifacts, and also because the museum closes later.

Tip: to avoid the queue at the ticket booth, buy your tickets online in advance here.  Be aware though that you will need to know your schedule very well, as the ticket is valid only for a specific timeslot.
