Attica zoo

It will take you a while to get there from the city center but it’s worth it. This zoo has the third largest collection of birds in the world, but of course it has also many other animals from snakes to monkeys to tigers and lions. There is a dolphin educational presentation for an extra fee.

How to get there?

The easiest way to get there is by taxi or rented car (directions here).
But you can also get there by public transportation: take the metro line 3 (blue line) to Doukisis Plakentias (20 minutes from the city center) and then the bus Lane 319 from Doukisis Plakentias Station every 35′ (ride is 40 minutes).
