Gostijo is the only Kosher restaurant of Athens is situated in a very central and picturesque area called Psiri. Don’t be deterred by the graffiti and rundown buildings, this area is absolutely safe and home to some very nice restaurants and popular bars of Athens.
The restaurant is located in a neoclassical renovated building that used to be a night club. Its decoration is very pleasant, and it has a courtyard for those who wish to eat outdoors. It can also organize meals to be delivered to your hotel and lunch bags for your excursions.
The restaurant is under the supervision of Rabbi Mendel Hendel from Chabad of Athens, and serves meat and vegetarian dishes inspired from the Sephardic culinary tradition. They sometimes have evenings with live music.

How to get there?
The restaurant is near Metro Monastiraki or Thisio. From there, walk on Ermou St until number 100, take Karaiskaki street, and the second left is a pedestrian street called Aisopou, the restaurant is at number 10. Beware, on some maps and GPS, Aispoou is spelled Esopou!
